As a sequel to the comedy short film, ‘The Pitch’, Pangdemonium, Singapore Repertory Theatre and Wild Rice Productions are coming together again to create ‘The Commission’, an exclusive live theatre piece during the pandemic.
This film reveals the individuals behind the producer, director, and actor. It dwells into the journey of three very different individuals, Adrian Pang, Gaurav Kripalani and Ivan Heng, who have contributed so much to the theatre.

It seeks to question whether we live in despair or hope.
With casts such as Tan Guo Lian Sutton, Rodolfo (Rody) Vera, Sukania Venugopal and more, this performance will definitely raise awareness about how the society is responding to the changes in our environment.

The World of Oiwa
Instead of using actual puppets, actors are tasked to portray puppets. This is a technique also inspired by the Japanese called Bunraku – a traditional Japanese puppet theatre.
This story will follow the main character of a husband and how he betrayed her wife, Oiwa. For those horror fanatics out there, this performance is a combination of the horror and romance genre.
This is definitely a legend with a contemporary take while it showcases a performance with horrifically beautiful moments that unfolds slowly.
