iMac
Looking for a new desktop? Apple launched seven vibrant colours of their iMac. I was pretty impressed with the colours – literally the rainbow. Choose any one of their vibrant colours and it comes with a power connector which is attached with magnets and best of all, it is colour matched! Also, don’t forget the matching keyboard, mouse and trackpad!
System
Designed with the Apple M1 Chip – first system on chip for Mac, it integrates the processor, graphics, memory, and everything else all in one single chip. Enjoy movies and videos with the 4.5K Retina Display with a width of 24 inches.
Furthermore, it includes the True Tone technology that adjusts the colour temperature of the display to match the ambience of the environment for a more natural viewing experience.
Quality
During this period, we are not allowed to travel. I would be lying if I said I do not miss my relatives who are living in other countries. Speaking of that, the new iMac includes a 1080p FaceTime HD camera.
This new feature not only allows users to always look their best but ensures high quality conversation when on the call with colleagues or just catching up with friends and family. It also has a six-speaker sound system that offers room-filling audio. It provides detailed soundstage that takes audio to the next level. This definitely calls for a time to vibe!
iPad Pro
This 11-inch device is lightweight which makes it portable and can be carried around everywhere you go. With Liquid Retina XDR display, it is equipped with advanced technology and 5G capabilities! Time to stream my favourite shows and download my favourite hits!

In addition, it has an ultra-wide camera and a centre stage feature, keeping you centred as you move during FaceTime calls. It is also great for Portrait mode selfies – I need to update my Instagram feed soon!
Another new feature includes the LiDAR feature. This measures how long it takes for light to reflect from objects. It will then create depth maps of any space and unlock cool AR experiences.
Finally, iPad Pro is not complete without its Apple Pencil, Magic Keyboard and Smart Keyboard Folio.
iPhone 12
The iPhone 12 series was released late last year with several colours such as blue, red, green, black and silver. However, Apple recently announced a new purple colour for both iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini – I honestly could have waited!
This new colour highlights the flat edges of the device and it matches the precision-milled back glass. Let’s talk quality. Both devices feature a ceramic shield that provides four times better drop performance. These devices offer a Super Retina XDR display. Furthermore, its wide and ultra-wide camera now comes with Night Mode – no more dark images for the gram!
AirTag
This new product offers an easier way to keep track of your items. Attach it to your items and they will be on the radar in the Find My app.
Simply play a sound in the build-in speaker or command Siri to look for the misplaced item. If it is nearby, just follow the sound and you found it! It can also lead you straight to the item with the Precision Finding feature.
AirTag will send out a secure Bluetooth signal to nearby devices and its location to iCloud, making it viewable on the map. The good thing is this whole process is encrypted and anonymous to protect privacy. You also do not have to worry about data usage and battery life!
Apple sure knows how to keep their customers coming back for more! The purple iPhone 12 and AirTag will be available for purchase from April 30th onwards! However, you can pre-order them on the 23rd of April 2021. All other products will be available for purchase from mid-May. You can pre-order these products on 30TH April 2021.
