It is pretty sad that travelling is a risk during these tough times. There are so many places I would love to visit. I want to explore new sites, learn about their culture and traditions, and most importantly, try out their cuisine. My family have longed to visit Dubai since I was a little girl but did not have the chance to.

This beautiful destination is home to many wonderful things such as their modern architecture, lively nightlife, luxury shopping and the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Apart from these city activities, you can also explore other wonders of Dubai such as deserts and rustic old streets. Let’s look at some things that is a must to do when travelling to Dubai!
Ski Dubai
Take a break for the heat and spend a fun day playing in the snow at Ski Dubai. This indoor snow park offers several fun activities for you to take part in. Purchase their Snow Daycation Pass to enjoy their snow park activities.

Slide down their snow slope, or tumble down the slope in a Zorb Ball. You can also take their Chairlift to the top of the slope. You can then choose between four other activities to participate in (Penguin Encounter, Snow Bullet Ride, Slope Session, Ski or Snowboard Lesson).
Do not own any skiing equipment? Do not worry. Ski Dubai offers an equipment rental service to ensure that you are well-equipped before enjoying your day playing in the snow!
Aquaventure Waterpark
Have a splashing fun day at Aquaventure Waterpark. With over 30 exciting slides and attractions, the waterpark was voted Region’s No. 1 Waterpark in Dubai by TripAdvisor. Some of the record-breaking waterslides include Odyssey of Terror, Shockwave, Medusa’s Lair, Blackout and Hydra Racer.

Apart from these thrilling waterslides, there are other attractions you can engage in. Swim with sharks at the Shark Safari or explore the Atlantis at the Ambassador Lagoon. You do not have to be an experience diver to participate in these activities. All you need is to live a little!
Al Shindagha Museum
Learn about the rich history about Dubai. The Al Shindagha Museum is a must to visit as there are so many things you can learn about Dubai back in the days. It was established in the Dubai creek area to transform it into a culture and traditional centre.

It is also home to the Perfume House where you will be given a change to go an aromatic journey, learning about the significance of Emirati perfume. The gallery showcases traditional techniques used when making perfume back in the day.
Learn about how these traditional Emirati scents are important in the religious and daily lives of the people in Dubai.
Balloon Adventures Dubai
I think this is the coolest thing while you are there. At Balloon Adventures Dubai, you get to fly in a hot air balloon. How cool is that? I have always wanted to see the world in a different perspective. When I was a little girl, I watch cartoons and always thought that hot air balloons are fictional.

That was until I watch videos of hot air balloon rides and I was thrilled even though it was just me watching it. As a grew older, I find hot air balloon rides pretty romantic. Being up there, looking down at the beautiful colours of the desert with your loved one, just perfect.
Balloon Adventures Dubai gives you the opportunity to fly up to 4000 feet above the ground over the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. This is the perfect example of both adventure and serenity. This is definitely something I will do if I was given the chance to travel to Dubai.
After the pandemic, my flight booking to this amazing destination is a must. There are so many new experiences in Dubai that I am extremely thrilled about. I hope that we are able to finally defeat the pandemic and have some time to explore other parts of the world. Share this with your family and friends and do not forget to add this to you travel bucket list!
