My sister and I have been huge fans of Western food. When we go out for family dinners, we would always order Western food such as burgers, fish and chips and fries are a must-have. We are always eager to try out new restaurants and eateries offering Western cuisine. There is this one eatery we have yet to try!
Previously known as Big Bern’s American Grill, it will soon be occupied by The Original Botak Jones. Big Bern’s was known to offer some of the best food such as burgers, Fish and Chips, Cajun Chicken and more. However, they have pulled down their outlet shutters at Gluttons Bay and Timber+ for the last time in April and May this year.
Long-Awaited Comeback
On June 8th, the eatery hinted that they would make a comeback, rebranding it as ‘The Original Botak Jones’. Though they did not specifically state the location, many people suspected that it will be opening at the coffee shop located at 118 Depot Lane.
Many people were quick to express their excitement over the announcement and commented on the post. I too am pretty excited to try them out, will definitely bring my sister along too!
Menu
It is a Muslim-owned eatery offering a wide range of Western food. Some of the menu items include burgers, steaks, seafood, sides and more.
I am pumped to try out their burger. They look extremely delicious. Juicy patty, topped with fresh lettuce and tomatoes, melty cheese, sandwiches between soft buns, just delicious. They also offer over the top fries, definitely trying that one too.
Final Thoughts
Though there are so many other halal Western food eateries all over Singapore, this is the one that I am most excited about. Their food looks scrumptious. I will definitely find some time to spend with my sister and to try out their food! Looks like it is a date with my sister!
