Everyone has their own taste when it comes to music. Some listen to music as a form of entertainment. While some on the other hand listen to music as a way to escape the real world. I listen to music for both.
There are days when I feel happy and just want to vibe to upbeat music. Other days, I just want to lay down in bed and listen to sad songs. I feel that music gets me sometimes. There are some songs that I can relate to, especially when I am feeling a certain way.

I do have some favourite music albums that are constantly on repeat on my Apple Music. I listen to them almost everytime, when I am eating, when I am in the shower and when I am doing assignments. Here are some of my favourite music albums of all-time.
Kehlani – It Was Good Until It Wasn’t
I was a fan of Kehlani’s music since she released her debut album, SweetSexySavage in 2017. Some of my favourite tracks include Distraction and Escape. I then followed up with the release of her next album, While We Wait, which was released in 2019.

The title of the album refers to the anticipation of her second album and the birth of her child. Created over the span of a month, the album includes some of favourite tracks such as Footsteps (featuring Musiq Soulchild), Nunya (featuring DOM KENNEDY) and Nights Like This (featuring Ty Dolla $ign).

At first, I thought this album was going to be my favourite. However, she released her third album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t the year after and I immediately fell in love. I love every track from the album. Some of my absolute favourites include, Can I (featuring Tory Lanez), Hate The Club (featuring Masego), and Everybody Business.
Album available for listening on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
Chris Brown – Indigo
Chris Brown is one of my favourite male singers. At such a young age of 16, he released his debut single, Run It! in 2005. In that same year, he released his self-titled album, Chris Brown. Till this day, songs from that album are still on repeat on my Apple Music. Some songs include Gimme That, Yo (Excuse Me Miss) and Say Goodbye.

In 2015, he released an album called Royalty, named after his lovely daughter. It was very sweet of him to name it after his daughter as she was the inspiration behind the album. However, my favourite album from this talented singer is his latest album, Indigo.

The album was released in 2019 and the songs hit different. My favourite song in the entire album is Come Together (featuring H.E.R). The vibe of the song makes me feel some type of way. When I first came across the album, I immediately downloaded it on Apple Music, and I was impressed by how great the songs were. Other songs include Red, Heat (featuring Gunna) and Girl of my Dreams.
Album available for listening on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
Rihanna – Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded
I love listening to old hits. I grew up with some of the best hits and till this day, those hits are still being played on streaming platforms. Rihanna’s Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded album is the perfect example of great old hits.

Can we all agree that Rihanna is one of the most iconic women in the music industry? She has a great singing career and has now launched her own cosmetics brand, Fenty Beauty. I have tried it and it is amazing.
This album out of all her works is my favourite. 2000’s R&B songs are the absolute best. Some of my favourite songs from the album are Take a Bow, Disturbia, Rehab (featuring Justin Timberlake), Hate that I Love You (featuring Ne-Yo) and Umbrella (featuring Jay-Z).
Album available for listening on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
