Are you fed up with being caged up inside? Visit some of these open air eateries and bakeries in town for some fresh air and pleasant breezes. From the bustling streets of Orchard to the quiet neighborhood of Netheravon, we have listed some of the best outdoor eating locations this city has to offer.

This beautiful open-air hideaway is usually serving up plates in the evenings and is nestled inside the storied grounds of Raffles Hotel Singapore. It has a fantastic Happy Hour menu where you can have select house pours at $10! Apart from Happy Hour, their prices are also affordable despite being located in the CBD. Choose from conventional all-day breakfast options like a smashed avocado tartine ($22), smoked salmon bowl ($12), eggs with rosti ( $17), and even classics like nasi lemak ($13) and seafood mee goreng ($15). There’s also the Courtyard Brunch special ($28), which allows you to create a full meal with one main and beverage of your choice.

Location: 328 North Bridge Rd, 1st Floor Raffles Arcade, Singapore 188719

Opening Hours: 3.00pm-10.00pm (Mon – Fri), 9.30am-10.00pm (Sat – Sun) | Delivery

The Tiong Bahru Bakery’s location at Fort Canning Hill, is a cheerful, open area surrounded by beautiful greenery. Lifeguard stands and doughnut floats are among the unique decor and design features that pay reference to the location’s past as the old River Valley Swimming Complex. Creations like the sourdough croissant ($4.80) with a crémeux praline filling, nutmeg teh halia ($7), and sourdough kvass ($5), a sparkling Eastern European beverage made with sourdough yeast, are just some of their dishes from the extensive list of exclusive concoctions they churn out.

Location: 50 Cluny Park Rd, Level 1 Singapore Botanic Gardens, Singapore 257488

Opening Hours: 7.30am-7.00pm (Mon – Sun) | Delivery

This modest eating spot on the fringes of Changi is a treasure trove of nostalgia and antiques. Vintage bicycles, old cameras, and kerosene lights are just a few examples. The outdoor seating of the restaurant itself is open and airy, and the surrounding vegetation gives you plenty of options for IG-worthy pictures. Sharing dishes such as har cheong gai (prawn paste chicken) ($16) and mains such as Ribeye Mac & Cheese ($41) and smoked salmon with rosti and sausage ($26) are a few favourites from those who pay them a visit.

Location: 200 Netheravon Rd, Singapore 508529

Opening Hours: 10.30am-11.00pm (Mon – Fri), 8.30am-11.00pm (Sat – Sun) | Delivery

Shack Shack’s branch on Orchard Road, Singapore’s busiest retail street, drives crowds to their location via their outdoor seating. The third Shake Shack location in Singapore features an open-air terrace, the first in Singapore and pays a homage to the original Shake Shack location in Madison Square Park. An open-air refreshment kiosk is also available for grab-and-go at this location. The classic Shack Stack ($14.30) and Chick’n Shack ($9.20) are a must try, and you can wash it all down with some outlet-exclusive creations like hand-shaken lemonades ($5.30) in lychee, blueberry, and mango flavours, and two new Concretes ($7.50) made with blueberry lavender jam.

Location: 200 541 Orchard Rd, #01-01 Liat Towers, Singapore 238881
